About Cefdromac-500 LB Tablet
Cefdromac-500 LB Tablet combines Cefadroxil 500 mg with Lactic Acid Bacillus 60 Million spores. Cefadroxil is a first-generation cephalosporin closely related to cephalexin but with a longer half-life that allows twice-daily dosing — improving adherence over the typical four-times-daily cephalexin regimen.
The combination provides bactericidal coverage of gram-positive and selected gram-negative organisms plus simultaneous probiotic protection of the gut microbiome — reducing antibiotic-associated diarrhoea (AAD) risk and improving treatment compliance.
