About Terbirut Cream
Terbirut Cream contains Terbinafine 1% Cream. Terbinafine is the most active topical/oral antifungal against dermatophytes.
Indicated for tinea infections, onychomycosis (oral form) and cutaneous candidiasis.

Mechanism of Action
Terbinafine is an allylamine antifungal that inhibits fungal squalene epoxidase, causing intracellular squalene accumulation (directly fungicidal) and ergosterol depletion. Highly active against dermatophytes — especially Trichophyton — with selective accumulation in skin, hair and nails.
Dosage & Administration
['Topical: apply 1–2 times daily for 2–4 weeks', 'Oral 500 mg: 250 mg once daily (typical dose used by halving)', 'Onychomycosis: 6–12 weeks oral therapy']
