About Camicold Tablet
Camicold Tablet combines three molecules for comprehensive cold and flu symptom relief: Nimesulide 100 mg (NSAID for fever and body ache), Phenylephrine 10 mg (decongestant for nasal congestion) and Cetirizine 5 mg (antihistamine for rhinorrhoea, sneezing and itch). The triple action addresses the three main symptom clusters of viral upper respiratory tract infections in a single tablet.
Nimesulide is a selective COX-2 inhibitor with good antipyretic and analgesic properties. Phenylephrine is an alpha-1 adrenergic agonist that produces nasal mucosal vasoconstriction, reducing congestion. Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that controls sneezing, rhinorrhoea and itchy throat.

Mechanism of Action
Nimesulide inhibits COX-2 (preferentially over COX-1), reducing prostaglandin-mediated fever and pain.
