About Nepadom-250 Tablet
Nepadom-250 Tablet combines Naproxen 250 mg with Domperidone 10 mg — for acute migraine attacks (NSAID + antiemetic addresses both pain and nausea), primary dysmenorrhoea with nausea, and tension headache.

Mechanism of Action
Naproxen is a non-selective NSAID inhibiting COX-1 and COX-2 — providing anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic action. Longer half-life (~14 hours) than ibuprofen allows twice-daily dosing. Lower cardiovascular risk profile among non-selective NSAIDs. Domperidone is a peripheral D2 receptor antagonist that prevents NSAID-induced nausea and enhances upper GI motility.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet at onset of migraine, may repeat after 8 hours. Maximum 2 tablets/day.
Side Effects
GI upset, peptic ulcer, fluid retention, hyperprolactinaemia (Domperidone), QT prolongation (rare).
Contraindications & Precautions
Active GI ulcer, severe heart failure, third trimester pregnancy, severe renal/hepatic impairment, prolactinoma, QT prolongation.
