About Nebulev-0.63 Respules
Nebulev-0.63 Respules deliver Levosalbutamol 0.63 mg per 2.5 ml via nebulisation — the paediatric strength for bronchospasm in children. Levosalbutamol is the active R-enantiomer of racemic salbutamol with less tachycardia and tremor at equivalent bronchodilator efficacy.

Mechanism of Action
Levosalbutamol selectively activates beta-2 adrenergic receptors on bronchial smooth muscle → cAMP elevation → bronchodilation. R-enantiomer provides bronchodilation while minimising S-enantiomer's pro-inflammatory and cardiac effects.
Dosage & Administration
Children 6–11 years: 1 respule (0.63 mg) nebulised every 6–8 hours.
Side Effects
Tachycardia, tremor (less than racemic salbutamol), hypokalaemia, nervousness.
Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity, severe cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism.
