Mechanism of Action
Solifenacin is a selective M3 muscarinic receptor antagonist — relaxes detrusor smooth muscle reducing urinary urgency and frequency in overactive bladder. M3-selectivity reduces non-selective anticholinergic side effects (less dry mouth than oxybutynin).
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 10 mg once daily.

Contraindications
- Narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, severe GI obstruction, myasthenia gravis.
