Mechanism of Action
Lutein and Zeaxanthin are dietary xanthophyll carotenoids that selectively accumulate in the macula, filtering harmful blue light and quenching reactive oxygen species. Astaxanthin is a potent carotenoid antioxidant. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA) are essential for retinal photoreceptor membrane function and provide anti-inflammatory protection.
