About Valetor-40 Tablet
Valetor-40 Tablet contains Valsartan 40 mg. Valsartan is a selective ARB widely used for hypertension and heart failure. Forms the valsartan component of the ARNI Sacubitril/Valsartan combination.
Indicated for essential hypertension, heart failure with reduced ejection fraction and post-MI cardioprotection (VALIANT trial).

Mechanism of Action
Valsartan selectively antagonises angiotensin-II AT1 receptors, blocking angiotensin-II-mediated vasoconstriction, aldosterone release and sympathetic activation.
Dosage & Administration
['Hypertension: 80–320 mg once daily', 'HF: titrate 40 mg twice daily to 160 mg twice daily', 'Take with or without food', 'Monitor BP, renal function and potassium']
