About Trymosin-DS Tablet
Trymosin-DS Tablet is the double-strength version of the Trymosin enzyme series, supplying 2,00,000 IU of combined Trypsin and Chymotrypsin per tablet. The higher activity is suited for major surgical procedures, large soft-tissue injuries and severe inflammatory oedema.
Like other proteolytic-enzyme preparations, it accelerates resolution of bruising, swelling and exudate by breaking down fibrin and inflammatory mediators.

Indications
- Major post-operative oedema and inflammation

Mechanism of Action
Trypsin and Chymotrypsin are serine endopeptidases of pancreatic origin. They cleave peptide bonds in fibrin, exudate proteins and necrotic debris at inflammatory sites, reducing vascular permeability and accelerating resolution of swelling. The 2 Lac IU strength provides higher enzymatic activity for cases unresponsive to standard doses.
Dosage & Administration
