About Trymosin Tablet (10×20)
Trymosin Tablet is a proteolytic enzyme preparation supplying Trypsin and Chymotrypsin in a combined activity of 1,00,000 International Units. The enzymes act systemically after enteric absorption to dissolve fibrin, debris and inflammatory exudate at sites of tissue injury.
It is widely prescribed after surgery, trauma, sports injury, abscess drainage and burns to accelerate resolution of oedema, bruising and inflammatory swelling.

Mechanism of Action
Trypsin and Chymotrypsin are serine endopeptidases of pancreatic origin. After enteric absorption they bind alpha-2 macroglobulin in the plasma and are carried to inflammatory sites where they cleave peptide bonds in fibrin, exudative proteins and necrotic debris. By breaking down inflammatory mediators they reduce vascular permeability, oedema and tissue induration — accelerating resolution of swelling and ecchymosis.
