Trunib Ointment contains Tofacitinib 2% — a topical JAK inhibitor providing localised immune modulation without significant systemic absorption.

Mechanism of Action
Tofacitinib inhibits Janus kinases (JAK1 and JAK3), blocking STAT phosphorylation and downstream transcription of pro-inflammatory cytokines including IL-2, IL-4, IL-13, IL-15 and interferon-γ. Topical use provides localised anti-inflammatory effect without systemic exposure.
