About Vona-4 MD Tablet
Vona-4 MD Tablet provides Ondansetron 4 mg as mouth-dissolving tablet — for patients with active vomiting unable to swallow regular tablets.

Mechanism of Action
Ondansetron is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist — blocks serotonin-mediated emesis. First-line for chemotherapy-induced and post-operative nausea/vomiting.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 4–8 mg orally 2–3 times daily.
Side Effects
Headache (very common), constipation, QT prolongation (dose-dependent), serotonin syndrome (with SSRIs).
Contraindications & Precautions
Congenital long QT, hypersensitivity, on apomorphine (severe hypotension).
