About Nimoron-30 Tablet
Nimoron-30 Tablet contains Nimodipine 30 mg, a dihydropyridine calcium-channel blocker with selective cerebral vasodilation due to high lipid solubility and CNS penetration.
Indicated for prevention of ischaemic neurological deficits following aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH). It improves neurological outcome by preventing cerebral vasospasm.

Mechanism of Action
Nimodipine selectively blocks L-type calcium channels in cerebral vascular smooth muscle. Its high lipid solubility allows preferential cerebral vasodilation. In SAH, it prevents the cerebral vasospasm that causes delayed ischaemic neurological deficits — the BRANT trial showed improved outcome.
