About Nifeget-20 Tablet
Nifeget-20 Tablet contains Nifedipine 20 mg, a dihydropyridine calcium-channel blocker.
Indicated for essential hypertension, Prinzmetal’s (vasospastic) angina and chronic stable angina (in modified-release forms). Also used in Raynaud’s phenomenon.

Mechanism of Action
Nifedipine selectively blocks L-type calcium channels in vascular smooth muscle, producing arteriolar vasodilation, reduced peripheral resistance and lowered BP. Has minimal effect on cardiac contractility at clinical doses.
