About Tusar-50 Tablet
Tusar-50 Tablet provides Losartan Potassium 50 mg — the standard adult maintenance dose. Most commonly prescribed strength for essential hypertension and diabetic nephropathy.

Mechanism of Action
Losartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) — selectively blocks AT1 receptors causing vasodilation, reducing aldosterone secretion, and lowering blood pressure. Lower-cost first-generation ARB with strong evidence in diabetic nephropathy (RENAAL trial).
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 50–100 mg once daily.
