About Linaglite-DM 5/10/500 Tablet
Linaglite-DM Tablet is a triple oral antidiabetic combining Linagliptin 5 mg (DPP-4 inhibitor), Dapagliflozin 10 mg (SGLT2 inhibitor) and Metformin 500 mg (biguanide, sustained release). The three mechanisms together address insulin secretion, urinary glucose excretion and hepatic glucose output.
It is indicated for type-2 diabetes inadequately controlled on dual oral therapy, or where simultaneous initiation of three mechanisms is preferred for significantly elevated HbA1c.

Mechanism of Action
Linagliptin inhibits DPP-4, prolonging incretin activity to enhance glucose-dependent insulin secretion. Dapagliflozin inhibits renal SGLT2, increasing urinary glucose excretion. Metformin activates AMPK to reduce hepatic glucose output and improve peripheral insulin sensitivity. The triple combination covers three complementary glycaemic mechanisms.
