About Ivercam Cream
Ivercam Cream contains Ivermectin 1%, a topical antiparasitic with combined anti-inflammatory effect. It is the established treatment of choice for papulopustular rosacea attributable to Demodex folliculorum mite overgrowth.
It is indicated for inflammatory papulopustular rosacea, demodicosis and as adjunct in head-lice treatment.

Mechanism of Action
Ivermectin binds glutamate-gated chloride channels in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, causing hyperpolarisation, paralysis and death of Demodex mites and lice. Additionally, ivermectin has direct anti-inflammatory effects on skin — reducing cytokine release from keratinocytes and macrophages.
