About Earsmart Drops
Earsmart Drops combine Gentamycin 0.3% (antibiotic), Beclomethasone Dipropionate 0.025% (steroid) and Clotrimazole (antifungal) — comprehensive triple-action ear drops for inflammatory otitis externa with bacterial and/or fungal infection.
The combination addresses inflammation, bacterial infection and fungal overgrowth in the external ear canal — particularly useful in chronic otitis externa, swimmer’s ear with mixed infection and infected eczematous ear canal.

Mechanism of Action
Gentamycin (aminoglycoside) binds 30S bacterial ribosome inhibiting protein synthesis. Beclomethasone is a topical corticosteroid suppressing inflammation. Clotrimazole inhibits fungal ergosterol biosynthesis.
Dosage & Administration
Adults and children: 2–3 drops in affected ear 2–3 times daily for 7 days. Avoid use beyond 2 weeks.
Side Effects
Local irritation, burning. Ototoxicity risk with perforated tympanic membrane.
