About Muprinep-F Ointment
Muprinep-F Ointment combines the topical corticosteroid Fluticasone Propionate 0.005% w/w with the topical antibiotic Mupirocin 2% w/w. The combination addresses both inflammation and Gram-positive bacterial colonisation.
Indicated for infected atopic dermatitis, infected eczema with secondary impetiginisation and inflamed dermatoses with Staphylococcus colonisation.

Mechanism of Action
Mupirocin inhibits bacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, killing Staphylococci (including MRSA) and Streptococci. Fluticasone Propionate is a potent topical corticosteroid that suppresses local inflammation via lipocortin induction.
