About Fluticus-AZ Spray
Fluticus-AZ Spray combines the intranasal corticosteroid Fluticasone Furoate 0.002% w/v with the H1 antihistamine Azelastine 0.10% w/v in a single nasal preparation. The dual action provides faster onset than steroid alone and superior symptom control compared to either component.
It is indicated for moderate-to-severe seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis where monotherapy is insufficient, and is supported by international guidelines (ARIA) as a first-line option for moderate-severe disease.

Mechanism of Action
Fluticasone Furoate is a high-affinity glucocorticoid that suppresses the late-phase inflammatory response, including eosinophil infiltration and cytokine release. Azelastine is a fast-acting topical H1 antihistamine that blocks the early-phase histaminergic response (sneezing, itch, rhinorrhoea) within 15 minutes. Combined dosing covers both early and late phases.
