About Gatirut-F Eye Drops
Gatirut-F Eye Drops combines the NSAID Flurbiprofen 0.03% w/v with the 4th-generation fluoroquinolone Gatifloxacin 0.3% w/v in a single ophthalmic preparation.
It is indicated for prophylaxis and treatment of post-operative ocular infection with inflammation — particularly after cataract surgery, refractive surgery and corneal procedures.

Mechanism of Action
Gatifloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV for broad antibacterial coverage. Flurbiprofen inhibits cyclooxygenase locally to reduce prostaglandin-mediated inflammation, pain and miosis. Together they provide infection control and inflammation modulation in one drop.
Dosage & Administration
