About Eberwipe-M Cream
Eberwipe-M Cream combines the broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal Eberconazole Nitrate 1% with the potent (Class IV) topical corticosteroid Mometasone Furoate 0.1%. The dual action targets both the fungal pathogen and the accompanying inflammation.
It is indicated for inflammatory tinea infections (markedly itchy or eczematous), tinea cruris with marked pruritus, tinea corporis with eczematisation and dermatophyte infections in patients with prominent inflammation.

Mechanism of Action
Eberconazole inhibits fungal 14-α-demethylase, depleting ergosterol and disrupting fungal cell membranes. Mometasone Furoate is a potent topical corticosteroid that binds intracellular glucocorticoid receptors, inducing lipocortin-1 production which inhibits phospholipase A2 — reducing prostaglandin and leukotriene synthesis and suppressing inflammation, pruritus and erythema.
