About Fungimac Lotion
Fungimac Lotion contains Clotrimazole 1% in a fluid lotion vehicle suited to large surface areas, hair-bearing skin (scalp, beard area) and weeping fungal lesions where a non-occlusive vehicle is preferred.
It is indicated for extensive tinea infections, pityriasis versicolor, scalp tinea, candidiasis on large body surfaces and intertriginous candidiasis.

Mechanism of Action
Clotrimazole inhibits fungal 14-α-demethylase, blocking conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol — disrupting fungal cell-membrane integrity and producing fungicidal and fungistatic activity against dermatophytes, yeasts and dimorphic fungi.
