About Ciliron-M 10/50 ER Tablet
Ciliron-M 10/50 ER Tablet combines Cilnidipine with Metoprolol Succinate ER — newer CCB + beta-blocker for hypertension with reduced peripheral oedema.

Indications
- Hypertension (combination)
- Stable angina + HT
- Patients prone to Amlodipine-induced oedema
Mechanism of Action
Cilnidipine is fourth-generation CCB with both L-type and N-type calcium channel blockade — N-type blockade reduces sympathetic outflow. Less peripheral oedema and reflex tachycardia than Amlodipine. Renoprotective in diabetic nephropathy. Metoprolol is cardioselective beta-blocker.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet once daily.
Side Effects
Mild peripheral oedema (less than Amlodipine), flushing, headache, palpitations (less than other CCBs). Bradycardia, fatigue (Metoprolol).
Contraindications & Precautions
Severe hypotension, severe aortic stenosis, pregnancy. Severe bradycardia, AV block.
