About Coscosip Syrup
Coscosip Syrup combines Ammonium Chloride (expectorant) with Noscapine (antitussive) per 5 ml. Noscapine is a non-opioid centrally acting cough suppressant with low addiction potential and minimal sedation. Ammonium Chloride helps thin mucus and ease expectoration when cough is mixed productive-non-productive.
Used for paediatric cough with mixed productive and non-productive components — particularly post-viral cough where complete suppression isn’t ideal but reduction of cough frequency is needed.

Mechanism of Action

Children 2–6 years: 2.5 ml three times daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 ml three times daily.
