Mechanism of Action
Albendazole is a broad-spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic — irreversibly binds beta-tubulin in helminth cells, inhibiting microtubule polymerisation and glucose uptake. Ivermectin binds glutamate-gated chloride channels in invertebrate nerve/muscle cells causing paralysis. Combination provides broad coverage against intestinal nematodes plus enhanced activity against Strongyloides, microfilaria, and ectoparasites.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet single dose. Repeat after 6 months if endemic area.

Mild GI upset, transient diarrhoea, headache.
