Truace-PTZ Tablet combines Aceclofenac + Paracetamol + Tizanidine — alternative muscle relaxant combination using Tizanidine (alpha-2 agonist).

Mechanism of Action
Aceclofenac is a non-selective COX-1/COX-2 inhibitor NSAID — better GI tolerance than diclofenac. Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic action. Paracetamol provides additional central analgesic and antipyretic action via central COX-3 inhibition. Tizanidine is alpha-2 adrenergic agonist providing centrally-acting muscle relaxation.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet 2–3 times daily.
Side Effects
GI upset, dyspepsia, peptic ulcer (less than diclofenac), fluid retention, hypertension, transaminase elevation. Sedation (Tizanidine), dry mouth, hypotension.
Contraindications & Precautions
Active peptic ulcer, severe heart failure, third trimester pregnancy, severe renal/hepatic impairment, aspirin-sensitive asthma. Severe hepatic impairment, hypotension.
