About Truceb-M Tablet
Truceb-M Tablet combines Acebrophylline 200 mg SR with Montelukast 10 mg — for allergic asthma with mucus hypersecretion. Mucolytic-bronchodilator + leukotriene receptor antagonist for once-daily comprehensive asthma control.

Mechanism of Action
Acebrophylline is a complex of ambroxol and theophylline-7-acetate — providing combined mucolytic effect (ambroxol component: stimulates surfactant, depolymerises mucus mucopolysaccharide fibres) and PDE-inhibitor bronchodilation (theophylline component). Used for COPD, chronic bronchitis, and asthma with thick mucus. Montelukast blocks cysteinyl leukotriene receptors reducing allergic inflammation.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet once daily in evening.
Side Effects
Tremor, palpitations, tachycardia (xanthine effects), nausea, GI upset, headache. Headache, abdominal pain (Montelukast).
Contraindications & Precautions
Severe cardiac arrhythmia, severe peptic ulcer, hyperthyroidism, seizure disorders, severe hepatic impairment. History of mood disorders (Montelukast advisory).
