Mechanism of Action
Ofloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, preventing DNA replication and producing bactericidal effect against a broad spectrum of ocular pathogens.
Dosage & Administration
- 1 drop every 2–4 hours initially for 2 days
- Then 4 times daily for 5 more days
- Apply pressure to inner canthus
- Use under medical supervision
