Therapeutic Indications
- Allergic rhinitis with concurrent mild persistent asthma

Mechanism of Action
Bilastine selectively blocks peripheral H1 histamine receptors. Montelukast competitively antagonises the CysLT1 leukotriene receptor on airway smooth muscle and inflammatory cells, preventing leukotriene-mediated bronchoconstriction and mucosal oedema.
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 1 tablet once daily in the evening, one hour before or two hours after food.

- Headache, low rate of somnolence, dizziness, GI upset, behavioural changes (Montelukast).
- Rare: hypersensitivity, hepatic enzyme elevation.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity.
- Acute severe asthma (not rescue).
- Severe hepatic impairment.
- History of neuropsychiatric disorder (Montelukast caution).
